A CHARITY helping children and young people come to terms with a bereavement has opened a base in Hereford.
Noah’s Ark Trust, which has a head office in Worcester, will operate from the Fred Bulmer Centre in Wall Street.
To celebrate its opening, the charity held a launch party at Hereford Town Hall featuring presentations and the screening of a DVD profiling a family which has recently received support from the Trust.
In attendance was new Hereford mayor, Councillor Kevin Wargen, Councillor Jonathan Stone, and staff who will work at the city base.
The free service provided by the Trust, which is available to families across Herefordshire, has been funded by the Big Lottery Fund.
The opening comes at the same time as the Noah’s Ark Trust celebrates its 10th anniversary, having opened in Worcester in May 1998.
