A HEREFORDSHIRE company is celebrating success at an international cider competition held in the county.
Gwatkin Cider, of Abbey Dore, won Overall Champions at the International Cider & Perry competition, which took place at Hereford’s Cider Museum.
The company saw off competition from 99 other entrants to claim the top prize, thanks to perry made by Denis Gwatkin.
Once Upon A Tree, of Putley, was the winner in the Dry Cider, Medium Cider and Best Presented categories, while there was recognition for county-based companies H Weston & Sons, Butford Organics and Gregg’s Pit Cider & Perry.
