ONE of Bromyard’s biggest employers has sold-off its sister company to a car manufacturer.

Holden Aluminium Technologies has completed a deal with Group Lotus.

The world-famous sports car manufacturer has acquired sister firm, Holden Lightweight Structures, in a multi-million pound deal.

The latter firm - which employs 120 engineers at its Worcester site - has been re-named Lotus Lightweight Structures.

Workers in Bromyard are unaffected by the sale, and will continue producing specialist aluminium car parts at their Linton Trading Estate plant.

Representative, Jeremy Holden, said the sale would be “mutually beneficial” to both firms.
