STUDENTS at a Ross school have been praised for their behaviour following their leavers' dinner and dance.
Local Policing Officer, PC Mark Murphy, contacted John Kyrle High School to express his thanks to the students for their behaviour and the friendly atmosphere created at the Chase Hotel event.
Nigel Griffiths, headteacher, said: "John Kyrle has always prided itself as being at the heart of its community.
"We consistently tell our students that they are our ambassadors in the community and we were all very pleased to receive such a glowing report on Year 11 on such a high profile evening."
Ofsted has previously praised the school's partnership work with other schools, the health service, and voluntary groups.
