A MAN has been taken to hospital following an accident with a saw in south Herefordshire.
A road ambulance and the County Air Ambulance were called to a farm between Little Doward and Great Doward, Whitchurch, just after 2.30pm yesterday.
Claire Thomas, for West Midlands Ambulance Service, said: “On arrival, crews found a man who it is believed had been carrying out some building work on the farm and suffered a deep cut to his arm with a saw.
“The man, believed to be in his 60s, was treated at the scene by crews before being transferred by land ambulance to Hereford County Hospital for further assessment and treatment.”
It is believed the man is a workman and not the owner of the farm.
