PARISH COUNCIL – At the last meeting of Clehonger Parish Council held at Innesfield Community Centre on Thursday, May 1, five councillors attended, along with the clerk, four members of the public and Laura Tyler (community safety officer from Herefordshire Council). At the annual meeting, David Taylor was elected as chairman for the forthcoming year and Trefor Edwards was elected as vice-chairman. Rob Williams was elected as parish council officer for the Kingstone and Thruxton Church of England Educational Trust. Ann Hitchiner was elected as the tree warden, Chris Tomlinson was elected as footpath officer, Jean Hammond was elected as village hall representative, Cyril Olds was elected as HALC representative for the southern division and Amanda Edwards was elected as youth representative. Since the last parish council meeting, four planning applications have been received. The next meeting will be held tonight (Thursday) at 7.30pm at Innesfield Community Centre. As always, members of the public are very welcome to attend.
