A HEREFORD college is celebrating its outstanding success in six categories of an inspection by a government body.
Hereford Sixth Form College was judged as outstanding by inspectors in six key areas judging the quality of education provided.
The college was judged as outstanding by Ofsted in categories assessing its effectiveness of provision, capacity to improve, achievement and standards, quality of provision, leadership and management and equality of opportunity.
The inspectors praised the high quality of care towards students throughout the college and its use of a wide range of strategies to inspire and challenge students was also noted.
The inspectors said the atmosphere at the college was "vibrant and purposeful" and the achievements of students were outstanding.
Jonathan Godfrey, principal, said: "This places us in a small handful of colleges in England to have received grade 1 for all aspects of our provision and confirms the national reputation of Hereford Sixth Form College."
