THE sky was the limit for a Hereford charity worker who took a leap into the unknown to raise funds.
Suzanne McGowan, one of the staff team at Barnardo’s Hereford Shared Care Project (BHSCP), overcome her fear of heights to raise more than £400 for the charity by taking part in a tandem skydive at the weekend.
“It was fantastic and I was made to feel at ease by a great instructor,” said Suzanne.
“We did lots of turns on the way down and, while my legs were shaking like a leaf, I absolutely loved it. I was very lucky to have had such glorious weather.”
BHSCP provide shorts breaks and leisure activities for children with disabilities and their families across Herefordshire.
