A FLOWER festival and concert will help pay for improvements to a north Herefordshire church. Orleton’s Celebration of Flowers, which is being held at St George’s Church, is entitled ‘Who Put the Colours in the Rainbow?’
It will raise funds to help improve disabled access at the church, install new toilets and running water.
The event takes place on the weekend of July 12 and 13, between 10am and 5pm. Admission is free.
Refreshments will be available in the vicarage as well as raffle, garden produce, cakes and bric-a-brac stalls.
On the evening of July 12, Ludlow band 2CV will play a concert at Orleton Village Hall to help raise further funds for the church.
Tickets are £5 and are available on the door or at the flower festival during the day.
