PETERCHURCH schoolchildren are ready to tackle any situation after being briefed by the fire service, police and other organisations on howe to care for themselves and others.
The bi-annual 'Helping Ourselves and Others Day' was held at Peterchurch Primary School and pupils from four to 11 took part.
Topics included healthy eating, drug awareness, anti-smoking, sunprotection, bullying and road safety.
Herefordshire Headstart also attended and the fire service explained the 'stop, drop and roll' emergency procedure and how to get out of a burngin building.
