MUSICIANS including Rick Wakeman and Paul Weller will view portraits of themselves penned by a Herefordshire artist during an exhibition opening on Friday.
The RockFace exhibition, staged in Birmingham, will feature canvases created by Melissa Mailer-Yates from Canon Pyon.
Rick Wakeman, Paul Weller and Toyah are among those Melissa has painted, and all are expected to view the end result over the next couple of weeks.
Last November, Melissa was commissioned by organisers of the Global Battle of the Bands event to paint an image of the late John Entwistle, bass player in rock group The Who.
The painting, which she called Thunderfingers, was then displayed at Birmingham Town Hall during the competition's UK heat.
The RockFace exhibition runs at Birmingham's St Paul's Gallery until July 4.
