A LADIES day at Hereford Racecourse will raise funds to help re-home retired racehorses.
The event, which takes place on Sunday (June 22), has been organised by HEROS (the Homing Ex-Racehorses Organisation Scheme).
HEROS has retrained and re-homed more than 300 retired Thoroughbreds since the early 1990s, and was granted charitable status in July 2006 with the help of the RoR (Retraining of Racehorses), British Horseracing’s official charity for the welfare of former racehorses.
Racing takes place between 2pm and 5.30pm, with a live band - Take That 2 - providing entertainment into the evening.
Tickets are available from www.hereford-racecourse.co.uk
