KINGTON residents must decide before July 3 whether to elect a new town councillor following the resignation of Councillor Harvey R Jones.
Herefordshire Council gave the deadline in a letter to all households, after which a new member could be co-opted by the town council instead.
The vacancy is also advertised on the council’s website at www.herefordshire.gov.uk/elections and throughout the parish.
Meanwhile, another vacant seat will be filled on June 26 when Esther Rolls, Jess Squire, Janet Thomas or Barrington Thomas Trumper will be elected as Kington’s latest town councillor.
