TWO men who admitted selling drugs in a Hereford nightclub have been handed community orders.
Hereford Crown Court was told that Dean Drew and Joel Gretton were at the Jailhouse on November 23 last year when doorstaff searched Drew, of Bastion Mews, Hereford, on suspicion of possessing drugs.
Police were called and they arrested him after finding two bags of ecstasy tablets worth £127.
Gretton admitted to police that half the pills were his and that both men were selling them.
The court heard how a week later, police were called to a disturbance in Union Street.
At the scene was 22-year-old Drew, who they arrested and found to be carrying 42 ecstasy tablets which he admitted supplying.
He also admitted smoking and supplying cannabis.
Gretton, aged 18, of Pomona Place, Hereford, also admitted possessing MDMA tablets (ecstasy) at the same nightclub in February this year.
Both pleaded guilty to the multiple drugs charges against them.
Judge Daniel Pearce-Higgins said Drew had already served three months in custody and placed him on a two-year community order with 12 months supervision.
He also said Drew must attend a drug treatment programme.
The judge placed Gretton on a two-year community order with 12 months supervision, and told him to carry out 150 hours of unpaid community work.
