A MAN and woman were taken to Hereford County Hospital today after the motorbike they were on left the road at Canon Pyon.
Paramedics were called to a bend between the village school and Bush Bank at 12.30pm after the man hurt his head and the woman, thought to be his wife, suffered a suspected fractured wrist.
Jeff Beveridge from the West Midlands Ambulance Service said an off-duty nurse from the hospital initially stopped to help the couple, who were travelling from London, and also got someone to direct traffic.
