LITERATURE is out and food is in at Hay-on-Wye this Saturday as the seventh annual Hay Food Festival comes to town.
More than 50 local producers will take over the memorial car park, including six winners of the True Taste Awards.
Foodies will get to sample everything from Peterchurch chocolates to Black Mountain honey.
Organiser Andrew Powell said: “This year is quite special because the food festival is proudly planning to go plastic bag free. At the moment Hay is the only plastic bag free town in the National Park and we are encouraging visitors to bring their own bags to take away their goodies.”
The event opens at 10pm.
