MORE than 25 Herefordshire schools are set for a cash boost next week after successfully completing school travel plans aimed at reducing traffic congestion.
The schools will receive grants from £4,000 to £5,000 for primary schools and £9,000 to £10,000 for secondary schools.
A further 17 schools which already have travel plans in place will be presented with school travel achievement awards and a cheque for £500.
There will also be five county schools receiving their second achievement award for making a big difference to the traffic situation around their schools.
