A 12-year-old boy has been taken to hospital after being knocked to the ground by a car in Belmont.
The accident happened just before 7pm last Thursday (19th) on Belmont Road, near the junction with Hunderton Avenue, when the car, believed to be a black Vauxhall Corsa, was in collision with the pedestrian.
The driver apparently shouted at the youngster and drove away. The boy was taken to Hereford County Hospital with bruising.
Police are keen to trace the driver and also to speak with any witnesses.
Anyone with information should contact PC Richard Pearce of the Roads Policing Team at Hereford Police Station on 08457 444888.
