PEOPLE are being invited slip into their shorts and t-shirts and get down to a Hereford nightspot where a beach themed event is being held in aid of charity.
Dani Davies, from Hereford, has planned the charity event at Karlos on Widemarsh Street in aid of Cancer Research UK.
Dani, aged 19, said: “Everybody knows someone affected by cancer so I wanted to organise a charity event.
“There is also a lot of negativity surrounding young people and I wanted to highlight how we are getting together and raising money for a good cause.”
As well as a beach-themed fancy dress competition, there will be performances by five local bands – Dandelion Killers, Jive Sticks, Orbitron, Tastyhead and Ten Thousand Flushes.
The event on July 5 is being sponsored by Animal clothing and will also feature a graffiti artist.
Tickets can be bought on the door and cost £4.
