Tomorrow's Hereford Times reports on county students indulging in a novel activity to warn them of the dangers of drinking and driving.
Students at Herefordshire College of Technology donned beer goggles to show them the effects of drinking alcohol and then taking to the roads.
The idea was to show students how drinking four pints of beer would impair a driver's judgment.
After slipping on the goggles they tried to operate a model car to illustrate the point.
The aim was to drive home a serious point and have fun in the process.
