BODENHAM WI – A cream tea fundraiser in support of the Macmillan Renton appeal will be held at Redvers, Chapel Lane, the home of Mrs Linda Creaton, on Sunday from 2pm to 5pm. Entrance is £3.50. There will be stalls and sales tables. All are welcome. The WI’s monthly meeting will follow on Tuesday in the parish hall at 7pm. Paul McGuire will present ‘Name that Tune’ and there will be a quiz. Names will be taken for the August barbecue.

BODENHAM LEISURE CLUB – The club will meet at the parish hall at 7.30pm on Monday, July 14, to hear Mike Oliver talk about ‘The Gamekeeper’s Year’. Names will be taken for the coach trip to Bwlch Nant yr Arian (red kites) on July 28. For details, call 01568 797268.

SUMMER FETE – The Bodenham Church fete will be held on Saturday, July 12, at 2.30pm and will feature live music with Phil Probert and his jazz mates. New attractions and competitions will include name the calves, and a performance by Bodenham school children.

PARISH COUNCIL – The parish council will meet at Siward James at 7.30pm next Monday. All parishioners welcome.
