A man has been arrested after one person died in a collision involving a car, a tractor and a coach in Herefordshire yesterday (Saturday).
The emergency services was called to the A49 near the Red Lion Pub at Peterstow, shortly before 10.50am.
An ambulance crew, three rapid response vehicles, the County Air Ambulance from Strensham and two BASICS doctors from MARS (Mercia Accident Rescue Service) attended the scene.
Chris Kowalik, West Midlands Abulance service press officer said: “Crews arrived to find a car, a tractor and a coach which had been involved in a collision.
The driver of the car sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The passenger of the car was treated for minor injuries and shock.
A man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
A 65 year old woman who was a passenger on the bus had neck pains and and was taken to Hereford County Hospital.
The driver and bus passengers were assessed by crews and discharged at the scene.
