PREPARE to be creative at The Courtyard’s Summer School, where participants will get involved in a wide array of art and drama activities and star in a production for family and friends on the last day of ‘school’.
Put your name on the register for the summer school by calling 0870 1122330. School starts on Tuesday, August 26, and runs until Saturday, August 30.
At Ludlow Assembly Rooms, meanwhile, it’s Back to the Future this summer in a series of fun workshops for young people aged from six to 13.
Creative workshops include a futuristic art workshop, or the chance to make a weird and wacky car, fantasy costumes or masks.
Young people can join a professional film maker to create a short sci-fi film in one day, or a professional composer to create a CD of out-of-this-world sound effects.
Finally, there is a fantastic opportunity for young people aged eight-12 to join a Youth Theatre Residency from Monday to Friday, August 11-15, to put on a play with props, costumes, make-up and lighting.
