HEREFORD’S motor-cycling team of fundraisers is planning a trip to the war graves of Europe next year.
They want to pay their respects at the graves in France and Belgium of British and Allied servicemen and women from two wars.
The Hospice Angels have made five major trips to different places in the last five years, raising a total of £67,000 for St Michael’s Hospice, but next time they want other motor cycling enthusiasts to join them.
Leader Mike Pullin said it was hoped to organise the trip to the war graves next September and he would be delighted if other cyclists accepted the invitation to travel with them. Anyone interested can call him on 01981 240544.
Earlier this year the Hospice Angels motor-cycled round Ireland and raised money to enable them to present the hospice with £16,000.
Recently Mike and friends Joe Davies and Chris Boulton made a parachute jump to boost the fund.
