POLICE are trying to trace vandals who left a trail of destruction in Kington last weekend.
A car parked outside the Co-op had its wing mirror ripped off and its side window broken, and the wipers of three vehicles were damaged in Mill Street.
Three buses were also affected, fire extinguishers were stolen and a cricket club sight screen was pushed over.
Sergeant Colin Smith said, "We are determined to find out who caused this damage and are already looking at forensic tests and CCTV images taken from around the town".
Officers believe a group of youths hanging around the town centre were involved between 11pm on Saturday, September 13 and the following Sunday.
Anyone with information should call police on 08457 444888 or crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
