A COUNTY landowner can continue to hold up to 24 car boot sales a year.
Planning committee members gave the thumbs-up to a request to renew permission for 10 extra sales per calendar year at Ashford Stables, Stoney Street, Madley.
It is possible to use land for car boot sales for 14 days a year without the need for a planning application.
The application was to renew a temporary planning permission for an additional 10 days (a total of 24 per year) that expired on August 31, 2008.
Madley Parish Council supported the application but one letter of objection was received concerning noise from the events.
