Special invitation! This month's Merbach Work Day will be held on Monday 29th September. We will continue to build the steps on a steep and slippery section of the path that leads up through the woodland in the north-eastern corner of the common.
We will be meeting at 10:00 am at the entrance gate to the common next to Pendle Cottage (formerly Hicockolorum). If you would like any further directions please ring Tim Breakwell on 01432 853205.
No previous experience is required as training in the use of tools will be given and you can work as hard or as little as you like! Please wear stout footwear and bring waterproofs in case of wet weather. A packed lunch and plenty to drink is also recommended.
