FIREFIGHTERS have just used airbags and winches to free a woman trapped underneath a car in Leominster.
Rescue crews were called to Etnam Street where the woman was reported as trapped after falling out of a car just after 1pm.
“At this stage, we think the car went over the woman’s legs leaving her trapped,” said Watch manager David Taylor, of Leominster fire station.
The crews used the winches and airbags to lift the car off the woman who, conscious but in great pain, was worked on by paramedics. She is now on her way to Hereford County Hospital.
