A NORTH county fundraising group is celebrating after smashing its yearly target by almost £1000.
The Corn Dollies have reached their £2500 goal and then some following a coffee morning at Weobley Village Hall.
A raffle drawn by Conservative parliamentary candidate Jesse Norman and various other events had already generated the amount aimed for, but the coffee morning was already arranged and went on to make £800 with 133 in attendance.
The proceeds will be divided between The British Heart Foundation, St Michael’s hospice and Weobley Parish Church.
Group member Anne Watney said: “We are all tremendously thrilled.”
