PARENTS of pupils making the move to secondary school next year have some important choices to make.
Herefordshire Council has asked parents of Year 6 children to name three schools they would like them to go to.
This needs to be done, in order of preference, by November 7.
These will been given equal weight initially but, if more than one place can be offered, the school that parents rank highest will be given priority.
Parents will receive an information pack through their child’s primary school. This includes an application form and dates for open evenings.
Applications can also be may be made at herefordshire.gov.uk Offers of school places will be made on made on March 2 next year.
