PEOPLE are being asked to get in touch with Herefordshire Council if they are having problems with broadband.
Although many county residents and businesses are enjoying fast broadband connections, there are areas which have no broadband connection or suffer a poor quality service.
The council is in the process of talking to BT to come up with solutions and needs more feedback.
“The main areas which may be without broadband have been established by the council’s research team but problems in other areas have also been confirmed through complaints fed back through councillors,” said Alan Ronald, the council’s senior economic regeneration officer.
“We’re in the process of talking to BT about this – but the problems won’t be easy or cheap to overcome and may require different solutions.
“To help us with this, we need a better idea of how many people are having problems and where they live.”
