THE final report of a project that unearthed the county’s first henge monument is to be presented.
The report from the Lugg Valley Archaeology, Landscape Change and Conservation project will be presented on Tuesday at Leominster Library from 2pm.
Funded by Leader+, English Heritage and Herefordshire Council, the project included surveys, excavations and practical conservation work.
Excavations carried out led to the identification of the first henge monument in Herefordshire and the first Neolithic enclosure in the West Midlands.
