CREWS of Hereford firefighters heading to a shout this morning had to split and deal with two emergencies.
Officers were on their way to a garage fire in Fakenham Drive at around 7am today when they passed the scene of a collision involving a car in Edgar Street.
One crew, equipped with a first aid kit, stopped to help while the other put out the Fakenham Drive fire.
Alec Mackie, for the fire service, said one casualty from the collision was taken to hospital.
