A FORMER Hereford school site is back up for sale after housebuilding plans were withdrawn.
Herefordshire Council has put the former Whitecross High School site on the market for the second time in 18 months.
The sale, being overseen by Savills, comes three months after Barratt Homes pulled out of plans to develop the five acre site.
The housebuilder proposed 71 homes, but withdrew after the Environment Agency re-evaluated the flooding risk of Yazor Brook.
Demolition crews are currently clearing the site, earmarked for housing in the council’s Unitary Development Plan.
Colin Birks, property services manager, said some expressions of interest had been received.
“Companies previously interested in the site have been made aware that it is being re-advertised,” he said.
