AUTUMN arrives at Parkfields Gallery, Ross-on-Wye, on Saturday with the opening of their new exhibition, That Country Feeling.
Light is a key element in the work of stained glass artist Annie Rie, who applies layers of black glass painter’s stain to coloured glass, thereby controlling the amount of light coming through the glass.
Herefordshire artist Jackie Cox, who works in pastel, is exhibiting a new series of delightful local landscapes. Jackie enjoys building up layers of colours, resulting in the fascinating play of light in her scenes.
Animal sculptures in bronze, resin/bronze and ceramic one-offs by Rachel Ricketts add another dimension to the exhibition and complementing these exhibits are domestic earthenware pots by Patia Davis.
The exhibition runs until Monday, November 10. For more information, call 01989 565266.
