MARDEN & District Riding Club members enjoyed a successful trip to the Midland Assoc. of Riding Clubs Championships at Rodbaston College in Staffordshire.
Senior Showjumpers Hannah Tolley and Something About Mary won the Very Novice Horse Championship, with Michelle Barrett and Nutwood Rupert 3rd in Novice Horse "Joker" class In Juniors, Robbie Skyrme's ponies won 10 rosettes overall, Pickles winning 10 years and under "Joker" plus third in Championship while Doolally won 12 years and under "Joker" and Novice Pony Championship.
Sophie Stratton and My Scrumpy Jack were Reserve in Small Open Pony.
In the showing section, Tot Wall and Oakridge County won Riding Club Horse Championship and Reserve in Open Working Hunter, while Fancy Free Finbar took third in Ridden Veteran.
Kirstin James and Molly won Coloured Horse Championship, while Becky Pugh and Miss Lux were third in Novice Working Hunter.
