A HEREFORD eyesore could be replaced with housing and a restaurant if plans are approved.
A proposal to redevelop the derelict Campions Restaurant site have been submitted to Herefordshire Council.
Two blocks of flats containing 14 luxury apartments have been proposed by The Design Partnership.
The glass and timber-covered blocks would be five and three stories high and would have more than 30 parking spaces on the north side.
They would be built on arches to combat flooding and feature a riverside restaurant and public space.
The plans have been submitted on behalf of owners Tobin Enterprises, following talks with Environment Agency engineers.
