THE Tudor buildings of a Herefordshire market town come under the spotlight at a history society talk next week.
Presented by Duncan James, the talk kicks off Leominster Historical Society’s new season on October 16.
Duncan will illustrate the range of late 16th/ early 17th century buildings in Ledbury and consider why there are so few 15th century buildings in the town compared with Leominster, Weobley and Pembridge.
There will also be an explanation of the two phases of development of Ledbury Market Hall.
The event takes place at The Community Centre, School Road, off Church Street, Leominster at 7.45pm after a short AGM which starts at 7.00pm.
Visitors are very welcome on payment of £2 on the night.
