A HEREFORDSHIRE mother says she is thankful her children were not playing in the garden when a bus collided with their Pembridge home.
The bus was heading towards Kington last Thursday afternoon when it left the road, went through a hedge and struck Barbara Goodey’s East Street house.
“I was in the kitchen at the time and heard the noise,” she said.
“I’m just grateful my two children were not playing in the garden, as they often do, because that would have been the end of them.”
She said some damage was done to a boiler room and they are waiting on a structural engineer’s report following the crash involving a Lugg Valley bus.
No one travelling on the bus was reported to have been injured.
