A woman pleaded with her alcoholic partner to stop drinking shortly before he died, an inquest heard.
Daniel Jones, aged 38, who had changed his name through deed poll from Wayne Hickey, was drinking up to eight cans of strong lager a day before he died in Hereford County Hospital.
His partner, Marilyn Stanley, said he was admitted to hospital every seven or eight weeks because of his drinking. Mr Jones, of Hunderton Road, died last October. A verdict of death by natural causes was recorded.
