TWO familiar Herefordshire residents are all set to ruffle a few feathers in Westminster.
A pair of peregrine falcons, commonly found in the south of the county at Symonds Yat, have found a new home at the Palace of Westminster in London.
Hereford MP Paul Keetch, who spends a lot of his working life in the capital, says the birds remind him of the county.
“I know these birds can be seen in Herefordshire, with Symonds Yat Rock being one of the best places in Britain for the purpose, but to find they have taken up residence in London too is just brilliant and reminds me daily of my Hereford home,” he said.
