TEDDIES and toddlers are wanted to take part in a special fundraiser for a Peterchurch schoolboy next month.
County residents are wanted to walk between 100 metres and 400 metres to help Josh Dovey.
The 10-year-old suffers from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) and has been campaigning, along with mum Pauline Brace, to help related charity Action Duchenne finance research that could potentially fix faulty genes in DMD sufferers nationwide.
A teddy bears picnic event at Hereford Leisure Centre on May 24 is the latest in a line of fundraisers organised by Pauline to help.
Children can register for £3 each to receive a t-shirt and entry into a teddy prize draw, with each accompanying adult going free.
For more information contact Pauline on 01981 550878 or email pauline@actionduchenne.org, or pick up a registration form from Hereford Leisure Centre.
