TWO new ventilators for the Special Care Baby Unit at Hereford County Hospital have been bought out of public donations.
They cost £29,769 and are being used to support the breathing of premature and sick babies.
The money came from Hereford Hospitals Trust Neonatal Charitable Fund, which gets its money from donations.
Cash from the fund is used to replace or upgrade specialised equipment to ensure babies receive an excellent standard of care at all times as well as helping to improve facilities and ease the stresses and strains for families.
