MOBILE LIBRARY – The travelling library will return to Burley Gate and Much Cowarne today (Thursday). Amongst other stops, it will be outside Burley Gate Post Office at 1.20pm.
NATIONAL BEANPOLE WEEK – National Beanpole Week will be celebrated at Moreton Wood, Ullingswick, from 11am to 4pm on Sunday. There will be face painting and other activities for children, a chance to meet local author Archie Miles, sales opportunities and the chance to take a spring walk through the woods. NEW RECTOR – The Bishop of Hereford has appointed Rev Lynn Money to be the next Rector of the Benefice of Bredenbury, Collington, Edwyn Ralph, Little Cowarne, Pencombe with Marston Stannett, Thornbury and Ullingswick. Lynn is currently assistant curate in the Weobley and Staunton-on-Wye Benefice. Prior to ordination, she was youth officer for the Diocese of Hereford. She will begin her ministry in these parishes at a special service on Monday, September 7.
