ONE Hereford retailer claims to be bucking the trend for retail gloom with continued growth from internet sales.
Luke Conod, managing director of family-owned business Jeans Nation, in Eign Gate, Hereford, says: “Our internet activity has enabled us to grow the business at more than 30 per cent a year for the last eight years.
“We’ve worked hard to make it one of Levi’s biggest independent retailers in the country and our website buyjeans.
co.uk is one of the UK’s only official online Levi’s shops,” he said. “Our main success and growth has come from internet sales.”
Outgrowing the retail shop in Eign Gate, the Jeans Nation on-line team moved to a purpose- built warehouse and despatch facility on the edge of the city and extra staff have been recruited.
