A PAIR of migrant workers who died on a Herefordshire strawberry farm took their own lives, a coroner has ruled.
Wieslaw Przewoznik and Piotr Sokolowski died at separate locations at S&A Davies Marden on June 28 of last year.
Herefordshire Coroner, David Halpern, ruled out a connection between the Poles at this morning’s inquest (Thursday).
The inquest heard that Przewoznik, aged 37, died in a caravan during the early hours while Sokolowski, aged 47, died during the morning in a nearby field.
Det Supt Mark Jinxs ruled-out a pact, and said there were no suspicious circumstances.
Management at S&A Davies have called the incident a tragic coincidence, and expressed their condolences to the families.
