WHACKY WALKERS – After early morning rain, 29 walkers met on Saturday, April 25, at the Fountain Inn, Orcop, at 10.15am to order food. Led by Mr and Mrs John Pinches, the walkers made a circular tour of the area mostly across open ground and over stiles, enjoying the wonderful views. With a good walk under their belts, they returned to the Fountain Inn for a social lunch. All agreed they had had a most enjoyable walk.

COMMUNITY CAR PARK – A preliminary enquiry to Herefordshire planning for a car park at St Andrew’s Church, Bridge Sollers, has been rejected by highways, landscape, historic buildings and archaeology. New Bridge Community Centre committee will meet shortly to consider the next move.
