DILWYN Show will take place at Fields Place Meadow on Bank Holiday Monday, with a mix of arena events and sideshow attractions providing a fun day for all the family.
Vintage and classic vehicle organiser David Fowler has more than 100 vehicles, engines and tractors registered for display. So taken with Herefordshire on his last visit to the county, one of the entrants, Martin Croston and his wife Susan, will be travelling from Rochdale to display their car, a Standard Avon Special.
Another eye-catching vehicle will be a yellow Green Goddess fire engine (painted yellow as were all Green Goddesses that saw service in Northern Ireland) in which students from Aberystwyth University will be taking on the 2009 Mongol Rally.
