PLANNING FOR REAL EVENT – Kilpeck Group Parish Council hosted, in conjunction with the local parish church coffee morning, a Planning for Real event at Kilpeck Village Hall on Saturday. The all-day event was supported by the local fire service with a fixed display and fire appliance, the local policing team, led by Sgt Tim Dugmore from Peterchurch Police Station, Richard Baker, from the First Responder Service, which offers vital support during those first critical minutes prior to paramedics arriving at the scene of an incident, as well as various stalls, raffles, face painting and a display from the local historical society.
As part of the parish planning process, all members of the group of five parishes were invited to attend and, by inserting flags into a large scale map, could identify areas which they felt needed attention. Once this information has been collated it will form the basis of a questionnaire to be sent to all households. The results of this survey, in conjunction with the Planning for Real event, will form the Parish and Community Plan for the Kilpeck Group.
