THE family of Daren Loader say they’ve been overwhelmed by public support.

The 17-year-old died after an attack in the underpass beneath Whitecross Road, Hereford, in March.

Friends and relations have rallied to help the family deal with the aftermath and to raise money for a permanent memorial.

No date for a funeral has been set.

Tracy Jones, Daren’s mum, said: “Shayne Hogg Funeral Services are doing everything they can to ensure Daren is given the best send-off, even though they are going to be out-of-pocket.

“All monies which are being kindly donated to help towards memorial costs will be put back into the community in memory of Daren at a later date.

“Any donations that are being made, could you please leave contact details so I can thank you personally.”
